Supplementary Unregistered Design

Supplementary unregistered design ("SUD") is a new intellectual property right which protects new designs with individual character from copying for 3 years from the first disclosure of the design in the UK.  It replaces the protection formerly provided by unregistered Community designs. (see Suds 13 Feb 2021).
